We took a wonderful tour of the cellars and the small but impressive museum. Then we had a tasting of five fantastic wines (all varieties of Freisa, and they were expensive). Exceptional is the word that best describes the experience.
A wonderful sabering experience, but not only that... Alessia charmed us with her knowledge and eloquence as she introduced us to this place steeped in history through the collection of antiquities gathered by Mr. Balbiano.
This was followed by a tasting of the wines from this cellar and the discovery of Freisa.
The architecture of the place is worth the visit. We'll be back.
