Pop & Sabrage

We know you've seen tons of videos on social media... What if we told you that you could finally saber a bottle?

You will be guided through the history and origins of "rosé bubbles", the life of Madame Barbe-Nicole Ponsardin and the first Napoleonic "sabre stroke".

We will teach you all sabrage techniques, its tricks and the rules for opening a sparkling wine in an unconventional but completely safe way.

The experience includes:

- Guided tour of the production cellar
- Guided tour of the Refinement Cellar
- Guided tour of the Farmers' Museum
- Guided tour of the Vintage Toys' Museum
- History and introduction to sabrage
- Tasting of 3 Balbiano wines ( Spumante and two types of Freisa di Chieri) paired with salami, cheese, and “Rubatà” breadsticks.

Please communicate us any food intolerances/allergies when booking.
The duration is approx. 2 hours and a half and does not include the vineyard tour.

CANCELLATION POLICY 

The time stated by the Winery refers to the beginning of the visit. In case of delay, the starting time will not be modified, respecting the other guests and following groups. 

When we have the possibility, both midweek and on weekends, we try to put together more requests for visits and tastings and, for this reason, we usually have groups of around twenty visitors at most.

We have an internal car park where you can leave your car during the tour.
